As we round off the spring term, we reflect on a packed few weeks full of achievements, community spirit, and exciting changes ahead.

Welcoming Mrs Chapman

As we prepare to say a temporary goodbye to Mrs Tickhill for maternity leave, we welcome Mrs Chapman to the team, who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to Class 1.

Dojo award pride

It’s been wonderful to celebrate so many bronze and silver dojo awards in our Friday worships. Pupils continue to show fantastic effort, focus, and commitment to learning.

World Book Day with a twist

This year’s World Book Day saw pupils visiting Ashbourne Library, learning about the history of Shrovetide, and enjoying story-sharing time with friends. The atmosphere was joyful and cosy, with bookmarks made and shared across classes.

Mother’s Day service

Thank you to all who joined us for our special Mother’s Day service in church. We’re also grateful to FOKS for donating primroses for each mum—a lovely touch to celebrate the day.

Shrovetide Disco success

A huge thank you to the Friends of Kniveton for organising a fantastic disco. The pupils had a brilliant time dancing and singing, and we’re so grateful for the continued support of FOKS in bringing these events to life.

Keeping pupils safe

Thanks to Ben at Lester Lowe Ltd, our pupils now have over 60 hi-vis vests for safe walking to church and trips. We’re so grateful for this generous donation.
