The spring term is off to a fantastic start at Kniveton! From brilliant inspection results to sporting success and a focus on wellbeing, there’s plenty to celebrate.

Celebrating our OFSTED and SIAMS results

We were delighted to share the outcome of our recent OFSTED and SIAMS inspections—both reports highlighted our pupils’ love of learning and respectful behaviour. A proud moment for our whole school community!

Forest School preparations

Plans are underway to relaunch our Forest School area, pending a safety survey. We’ll be organising a working party once that’s complete—please let us know if you’d like to help!

Bronze Dojo success

A huge well done to all the pupils who have earned their bronze Dojo badges so far this year! Your ambition, effort and independence are shining through.

Sporting success across the board

Pupils in all year groups have had the chance to shine in recent sports events:

  • Years 1 & 2 enjoyed a fun-filled multi-sport festival
  • Class 2 took part in an athletics event at QEGS
  • Class 3 participated in both tag rugby and indoor athletics
Our pupils showed great teamwork and respect throughout—well done, all!

Smart and proud in new sports kit

We’re thrilled to have a brand new sports kit, thanks to sponsorship from Coldeaton Jersey Dairy, TL Groundworks and Fox Precision Tooling. Thank you also to FOKS for organising this fantastic addition!

Christingle celebration

Pupils helped lead a beautiful Christingle service at the Church, showing great care and maturity. Thank you to Reverend Phil and everyone who supported this special event.

School council update

Our school councillors have now received their badges and are focusing on making our school more eco-friendly. A big thank you to them for representing pupil voices so well.
